The (in)famous Thomas Heaton is in Zion National Park for this video. His cool, calm and collected approach to landscape photography is always infectious and just makes you want to grab your camera and head out into nature to see what you can find.
Most know that filters are essential in landscape photography, but if you want to know exactly why they make such a big difference (in this case a Polarizer) then Mr Heaton explains it perfectly.
Alternatively, if you don’t need to be told why using a Polarizer is often a great idea, just take in one of the greatest landscape photographer’s work from one of the most idyllic locations in the world.
Since 2016 I’ve travelled full-time working as a travel photographer and writer remotely. I move around at my own pace (I hate fast-paced travel) and like to spend a few months getting to know each place I base myself in. Currently in the north of España 🇪🇸 and loving it.
